Dr. Brittany Disterheft is a native of Michigan and moved to Indiana after getting married. She graduated with Honors from Calvin College in 2009 and went on to attend the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University. After graduating, she completed a residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease at the VA hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. She is a member of the American and Indiana Optometric Associations and enjoys practicing full scope optometry. Dr. Disterheft has a passion for eye care missions and was able to participate in several mission trips to Mexico, Peru and Honduras during and after her schooling. She hopes to continue to be very involved in missions throughout her career. Along with her husband Tim, she enjoys traveling and exploring new places by hiking, kayaking or biking.
